Scheduling calls, I’m on call for work, and instead of hoping on a plane from New York back home to Minneapolis, I’m now working a flight from JFK to Denver and afterwards enjoying a 19 Hour layover there. Yes please!

This was my first time visiting Denver, with so much wanting to do and see in so little time.

Located just a 20 minute drive outside of Denver and a $7.00 Uber Pool ride from Downtown Denver is the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater.

Definitely worth the time and drive spending a day out there, and after checking out the place, I’ve added attending a concert there on my bucket list! Legends have played there from the Beatle’s to Willie Nelson and I’ve been told any concert out there is going to be an amazing one.

Walk around, take in the views, tour the visitors center, and spend the afternoon hiking one of the many trails out there.

End your post hike with a bite to eat and a local brew at Wynkoop Brewing. Colorado’s original Brewpub. Then walk around the Union Station.

And there you have it! A fun filled glimpse of what Denver and Colorado all entails!

Thanks so much for carrying on along on this quick trip and adventure with me! I hope I have given you some great ideas for when you plan yours.

Have you been to Denver or Colorado before? If so what are your favorite things to do and see? I would love to know! Please do pop a comment down below 🙂
