The Mountains are calling and I must go…

That is to Jackson Hole!

During winter Jackson Hole is a winter wonderland of skiing, snowmobiling , and ice skating. Come summertime this area is all about hiking. You’re only a 20 minute drive to the Great Teton Mountains, and a few hours drive away from Yellowstone.

When flying in, the minute the plane doors open, you can smell the fresh air, and are looking straight look out into the mountains. The day gets better because Jackson Hole’s airport has all outdoor ramps! So you walk off the plane outside the minute the door opens, and when boarding, you walk outside and onto the plane. Taking in every view that you can get.

Home to three ski area’s, and a fun little downtown filled with shops, bars, and local eateries. Every where you look you are surrounded by Mountains.

I had a 10 hour layover in this pretty city, and while 10 hours isn’t a whole lot of time, I still managed to walk around a bit and catch the sunset, and some picturesque views.
